This January has been very good to us. Having 2 weeks of bad weather, I can still say it has been a phenomenal month.
We have had great catches of Sea Trout, Silver Trout, Sheephead, and Black Drum. Water clarity has been clear; almost Florida Keys-like. I have not seen this in 20 years. The only thing I can say is that Hurricane Irma really cleaned the bottom.
Featured below are some of the great catches in the month of January.
With the current weather pattern, I expect February to be another phenomenal month. To give you a heads up, Tarpon season is coming. It’s going to be a great one! Call today to secure your backwater fishing carter date. 239-325-7109.
